The Ministry of Defence has decided to announce another Amnesty Period to handover illegal firearms due to the public request. The new amnesty period will be in effect from May 30 to June 17.
Anyone in passion of such illegal firearms can hand them over to the nearest Police Station, Divisional Secretariat or District Secretariat during this period. Persons returning such firearms will not be subjected to any fines or legal procedures.
