Attorney Nagananda Kodituwakku is to file a petition against the Supreme Court's verdict to suspend him from practicing as a lawyer for three years.
The Supreme Court yesterday issued an order preventing him from practicing as an attorney owing to defamatory remarks made against former Appeal Court President Vijith Malalgoda.
Mr. Kodituwakku was charged for making these remarks during an open court hearing on May 31, 2015.
