Balangoda Urban Councillor Nimal Gamini Weerasinghe’s official vehicle come under attack, yesterday. Police said an unidentified group who arrived in a lorry wielding clubs had allegedly attacked the vehicle in the early hours of yesterday morning. The vehicle was parked at a resthouse that comes under the purview of the Balangoda Urban Council, when it was attacked.
