Blangladesh Naval ship “Shadhinota” arrived at the port of Colombo on a goodwill visit yesterday and it was warmly welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions on her arrival, Navy said.
The Commanding Officer of the Bangladesh ship which is on a goodwill visit to Sri Lanka, Captain Mostafa Zillur Rahim Khan with officers of the crew, called on the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Sumith Weerasinghe at the Western Naval Command Headquarters. They held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest and exchanged mementos to mark the occasion.
The ship is scheduled to stay in Sri Lanka until 05th March 2020.
