The blood bank has requested the Public for blood donations following explosions which occurred in the country.
Accordingly, those willing to donate blood have been requested to do so by reporting to the Batticaloa hospital. This is due to a requirement of blood for the victims of today's attacks at the Zeon Church in Batticaloa.
A total of 27 people had died following the blast at the Zion Church which left 73 injured in Batticaloa.
Meanwhile, the public can also donate Blood at the Meegamuwa, Negombo and Trincomalee hospitals and the Blood Trasnfusion Centre in Narahenpitiya.
