The Cabinet has decided to increase the minimum monthly wage of private sector workers.
Accordingly, the minimum monthly basic salary that exists at Rs. 10,000 will be increased to Rs. 12,500. The daily basic wage with remains at Rs 400 will be increased to Rs 500.
This decision has been made owing to the present cost of living.
