Car plunges into canal: Body of missing teen found

The body of a 17-year-old youth who had been missing after a car plunged into the Viyana Canal in Mahinganaya has been found.

the victim had been inside the vehicle with his twin brother and parents when the incident occurred last afternoon (23). The bodies of the mother and father were found inside the vehicle yesterday while one of the twin boys managed to swim to safety while the other was washed away. 

His body of was found this morning

Police said the victims are residents of Manikhinna in Kandy.
