The case against Perpetual Treasuries Ltd owner Arjun Aloysius and three others for erasing phone call records of the company has been fixed for August 29 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's court.
The company along with the other individuals have been named as suspects in the Central Bank bond scam.
Perpetual Treasuries had handed over CD's containing phone call records of the company to the Presidential Commission which was appointed to probe into the Central Bank bond scam.
However, the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) was instructed to launch an investigation since certain phone call records had been erased while handing them over to the Presidential Commission.
During today's hearing, the CID told court that the Government Analyst's report on the CD's which were sent for an examination had not been submitted yet.
Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne had then sent a reminder to the Government Analyst's Department to expedite the process of compiling the report.
Arjun Aloysius, Kasun Palisena, Nuwan Thilina Salgado, and Sachith Devathanthri have been named as suspects in this case.
