The Colombo Crimes Division has begun investigations into an individual who had intimidated the Principal of a leading school in Moratuwa, by claiming to be an advisor to the President.
The President's Office in a statement said the probe had been launched in the wake of several reports regarding the incident.
The Presidential Secretariat has requested the public to notify the Police on individuals attempting to deceive the people by falsely claiming to be an associate of the President.
