Field workers of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) in the Vavuniya district have been provided with sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for safety against COVID-19.
Since electricity supply is an essential service, CEB workers are working 24-hours day. The CEB took steps to provide their field workers in high risk areas of the district with the PPEs after a COVID-19 patient was detected from Vavuniya.
