A stock of medical equipment donated by the Shanghai Municipal Government to the Colombo Municipal Council was handed over to the Public Health Department of the Colombo Municipal Council today.
Luo Chong, Spokesman and Chief of Political Section of the Chinese Embassy, handed over the stock of equipment to Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake. The equipment was donated based on a request made by the Colombo Mayor.
The equipment includes 20, 000 KN95 non-medical masks, 210 sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and 300 goggles.
