A Chinese national was arrested without a valid visa in Dewata, Magalle yesterday (May 05), police said.
The suspect, a 44-year old had arrived in the country four months ago, preliminary investigations have shown.
It has been discovered that the Chinese national was serving as an employee at a canned fish production factory. According to the police, a salary of Rs 350,000 had been paid to the suspect as a monthly salary.
Police also noted that the individual was not in possession of a passport as well at the time of the arrest.
The suspect will be produced before courts today.
