CID records statement from DIG Traffic over Thajudeen murder

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today recorded a statement from DIG Traffic and Road Safety, Amarasiri Senaratne in connection with the death of former rugby player Wasim Thajudeen.

One police officer, former Crimes OIC of the Narahenpita Police, IP Sumith Champika is already under arrest in connection with the alleged murder of Wasim Thajudeen, who was found burnt to death inside his car in Narahenpita in 2012.
