A person who engaged in financial transactions with National Thowheed Jamath leader Zahran Cassim has been arrested in Kattankudy this evening, Police said.
The suspect has been identified as 60-year old Mohamed Aliyar, a close accomplice of suspected suicide bomber Zahran Cassim.
He has been detained by the Kattankudy Police for further investigations, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said.
