CMC Mayor A.J.M. Muzammil is reported have said at a briefing in COlombo that a decision has been taken to blacklist the organising company Live Events behind the Enrique Iglesias concert which took place recntly at the CR and FC grounds.
Muzammil stressed the particular company will be blacklisted in order to make it ineligible to orgainse such events in future.
The Mayor is also reported to have said that legal will be taken against the organisers if they fail to settle the unpaid tax balance. “We have given them two weeks. The company will be blacklisted whether it settle the unpaid balance, or not,” he added.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
