Court issues arrest warrant for Arjuna Mahendran

Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today issued an arrest warrant on former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran. 

The warrant was issued after Mr Mahendran failed to present himself to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to give a statement regarding its inquiry into the Central Bank bond scam.
