Court issues stay order preventing action on Gota

The Court of Appeal today issued a stay order preventing the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) taking action against former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa under the Public Property Act till December 6. 

The court further issued notice on the Attorney General and other respondants to be present in court on that date.
