With two more Coronavirus infected Sri Lankans identified, the total number of infected persons increased to 52 today, Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said. The persons who are under observation also increased from 212 to 243.
All the infected persons are currently admitted at Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH), Colombo.
Meanwhile the government has declared a “Work from Home” week from March 20-27 for the public and private sector in order to curb the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19). All trips and tours including educational trips or recreational tours were banned from yesterday as a precautionary measure to control the spread of the novel virus.
