CPC hikes fuel prices

Fuel prices at all CEYPETCO outlets have gone up today (11) after a decision was reached at a meeting with the President last evening. 

Accordingly, the prices of a litre of 92 Octane Petrol, which was Rs.137, has gone up by Rs.8 to Rs.145. A litre of 95 Octane Petrol, which was sold at Rs.148, has gone up by Rs.7 to Rs.155.  A litre of Auto Diesel has gone up by Rs.9. Accordingly, the price of Auto Diesel has increased from Rs.109 to Rs.118. A litre of Super Diesel has increased by Rs.10 from Rs.119 to Rs.129. 

The price of kerosene remains unchanged. 

The government says the price of fuel will be revised each month according to the fuel pricing formula.
