The Elections Commissioner’s Office says that the distribution of forms related to the voters’ lists. It mentioned that the distribution of these lists will be undertaken by the Grama Niladharis, Government Information Department said. They will visit the houses within their Division and hand over the related forms. These activities are scheduled to be concluded by the 15th of June. All Grama Niladharis have already been briefed on this process and the necessary instructions issued. The Elections Commissioner’s office has called on the voters to duly fill these forms and return to the Grama Niladharis in their Divisions. The Office further announced that the 2015 Voters’ lists will be used in future elections.
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
