Department of Wild life Conservation (DWC) had decided to start a new E - booking service to enable public to purchase entry tickets to parks before reaching the location ,Director General H.D Ratnayake said today.
He said that the move had been taken after studying previously implemented system of E booking of bungalows which was a success.Mr Ratnayake explained that earlier bungalows were booked trough internet by paying the free trough credit cards.
“ People would be relived of staying in line in front of gates before entering parks,” he said
He said, over 1.4 million visitors had entered Wildlife parks this year up to November while 400000 foreigners were among them.
He said,therefore the department would be able to mange the number of visitors in the park.
