The former Deputy General Manager of the Independent Television Network (ITN), Sudarman Radhaliyagoda was today remanded until February by the Colombo Additional Magistrate for his involvement in producing and airing a defamatory advertisement. The advertisement was related to the last month’s presidential elections. The case was filed by the Police Children & Womens Bureau. Earlier his passport was impounded by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.
