The families who have lost members or those who went missing during the Easter Sunday terror attacks have been requested to provide information regarding these individuals to the Police Department.
Speaking at a press briefing today (May 04), Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said that 56 body parts of those who were killed in the explosions currently lie at the Colombo Judicial Medical Officer's Morgue.
Therefore, he said that a DNA test will be conducted on those body parts against samples from relatives in order to match their identities, Superintendent Gunasekara noted.
