A felicitation ceremony has been organised at the Presidential Secretariat for outgoing President Maithripala Sirisena, on November 14, a spokesman for the President's Office said.
Mementos, and tokens of appreciataions are to be exchanged between the President and the employees of the Presidential Secretariat during this occasion which will begin at 11 am.
Sirisena's final cabinet meeting in his capacity as President will take place today (Nov 11). His term will come to an end after the presidential election on November 16.
President Sirisena was voted into power in 2015.
