The FIFA world cup trophy arrived in the island marking its 54-country journey on the way to the FIFA world cup in Russia.
Sri Lanka is the first country that will display the world cup. A ceremony to unveil the trophy was held at the BMICH this morning attended by the Prime Minister, Minister of Sports and other dignataries. The trophy will be on displayat the BMICH today.
