The final rites of late Prime Minister D M Jayaratne will be held in Kandy on Saturday, sources close to the family told Times Online.
Jayaratne passed away at the age of 88 following a brief illness at a private hospital yesterday (Nov 19).
His body will lie in repose at his residence in Kandy.
