A fire had broken out at the third floor of a building at the Sri Gnanawimalarama Temple along Temple Road in Moratuwa this morning, police said.
According to the Police, investigations have revealed that the fire at the three-storeyed building had been caused as a result of an electric leak.
Steps had been taken to douse the fire using the assistance of the fire service in the area, police noted.
Moratuwa Police are investigating into the incident.
