Five arrested in connection with NTJ after brawl in Matale
Five suspects have been arrested in connection to the National Thowheed Jamath group, police said.
The suspects had been arrested following a clash which erupted between two groups in Matale last night.
It is believed that a brawl had taken place due to an argument owing to the display of an advert in the area.
However, the situation had been controlled following the arrest of the suspects.
