Colombo Fort Magistrate yesterday ordered that Former Navy Spokesman Commodore D. K.P. Dassanayake be further remand till August 10.
On July 12, the CID arrested Dassanayake on the charge of aiding and abetting the abduction and disappearance of 11 youths in 2008 and 2009.
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
