Former PM's son granted bail over election violence
Former Prime Minister's son and Central Provincial Councillor Anuradha Jayaratne has been granted bail after he was produced before the Gampola magistrate for alleged polls violence. Earlier he surrendered to the police along with two local council members and a Ministerial Security Division (MSD) guard over an attack on a campaign stage of President Maithripala sirisena during the campaign
