Update: Five army personnel have been killed in an accident involving an Army truck and the Yaldevi train this afternoon.
Two injured persons are currently receiving treatment at the Kilinochchi District General Hospital.
Four army personnel killed in Yaldevi train collision
Four army personnel have died while another three are reported injured in an accident involving an Army truck and the Yaldevi train this afternoon.
The accident had occured when the Jaffna bound Yaldevi from Colombo had collided with an army truck at Kilinochchi.
The truck was transporting water and supplies when the collision occurred.
The injured are currently receiving treatment at the Kilinochchi District General Hospital.
