Sri Lanka Navy assisted the Sri Lanka Coast Guard to arrest four Indian fishermen who were poaching in Sri Lankan waters Southwest of Delft Island yesterday. An fishing trawler was also seized from the fsihermen.
The arrested fishermen along with the fishing trawler will be handed over to the officials of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources of Kankasanthurai for onward action.
