Fuel prices have been revised yet again in line with the fuel pricing formula, Finance Ministry announced in a statement.
The fuel price hike which came into effect at midnight, saw the prices of both 92 and 95 octane petrol increasing by Rs 4. The new price of a litre of 92 octane petrol stands at Rs 149 while the new price of a litre of 95 octane petrol is Rs. 161.
The price of a litre of super diesel has increased by Rs 3 while the price of a litre of auto diesel has increased by Rs 5, thereby the new price of super diesel stands at Rs 133 while auto diesel will be priced at Rs 123
Meanwhile, Lanka IOC also announced that they have increased their prices in line with the price increase by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
