Galle Road closed from Kollupitiya Junction due to protest

Police have closed Galle Road for vehicular traffic from Kollupitiya Junction towards Galle Face due to a protest march being conducted by employees of the Survey Department. 

The protesters are alleging that there are moves to hand over the functions of the Survey Department to a foreign firm.
