The price of a 12.5 kilogram gas cylinder will be reduced by Rs 251 across all districts except Colombo from midnight, the Minister of Industry and Commerce said today (Oct 4).
Issuing a statement, the ministry said that the price of a 12.5 kilogram cylinder in Colombo will be reduced by Rs 240.
The prices of a 5 kilogram and 2.3 kilogram gas cylinders will be reduced by Rs 95 and Rs 30 respectively in the Colombo District, the ministry added.
The newly revised prices of gas in the Colombo District are as follows:
Meanwhile, the prices of gas in all other districts too are reduced in proportion to these with effect from midnight tonight, the statement read.
