Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa arrived at the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division to record a statement today.
According to reports the former Defence Secretary was summoned to record a statement pertaining to the alleged misappropriation of public funds.
The Court of Appeal meanwhile has issued a stay order preventing action from being taken against former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa under the Public Property Act.
Former Minister and leader of the Eelam People’s Democratic Party (EPDP) Douglas Devenanada was arrested by the Criminal investigation Department (CID) today.
