A curfew will be imposed from 6 pm today (Apr 21) until 6 am tomorrow, the Presidential Secretariat announced a short while ago.
This decision was taken to facilitate ongoing investigations into the explosions which occured across the country today, the Presidential Secretariat said.
Meanwhile, Defence Minsiter Ruwan Wijewardena told reporters today that discussions have been held with senior security officials including IGP Pujith Jayasundara in this regard.
The curfew will be imposed after taking into consideration the current situation in the country.
