Health Ministry will get the assistance of private hospital laboratories to conduct PCR tests, a senior official of the ministry said.
A discussion in this regard was held between Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi and managements of private hospitals today (2), he said.
It has been decided that the Health Ministry will monitor and regulate PCR tests done in laboratories in private hospitals, assist in increasing the numbers of PCR tests and ensure quality testing.
