The hearing of oral submissions in a contempt of court case filed against Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake has been fixed for December 4 by the Supreme Court.
The Attorney General, had earlier told court, that the remarks made by Ramanayake at a media conference in 2017, were explicity derogatory against the judiciary.
Ven. Magalkande Sudantha Thero and a former Air Force officer have filed a case against the Deputy Minister.
