Heavy traffic reported in Colombo Fort has been reported owing to a protest staged by a group of disabled soldiers,local media reported. Differently abled soldiers and army officers held the protest in front of the Fort Railway Station over the current army pension procedure.
The soldiers also attempted to submit a petition to the Presidential Secretariat Office.
The death toll in the Ella bus accident has increased to 15 with 16 others injured.
