United National Party (UNP) Parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra was questioned by the Colombo Crime Division (CCD) yesterday following a complaint lodged by a 34-year-old man that he had been abducted and assaulted by the MP's personal staff, local media reported
According to reports, Premachandra was questioned from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. at the CCD.Premachandra, in her statement said she did not know anything about the incident which occurred on Monday.
