IGP Jayasundara takes wing to Japan ; Senior DIG Wickramaarachchi appointed as acting IGP
Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Chandana Wickramaarachchi has been appointed as the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) until March 03.
Accordingly, he is to serve during the absence of IGP Pujith Jayasundara who left the country yesterday (Feb 24).
IGP Jayasundara took wing to Japan last night in order to take part in a special conference.
