Presidential candidates and their political parties held their final political rallies yesterday (Nov 13), marking the beginning of the 48-hour Silent Period.
SLPP candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, NDF candidate Sajith Premadasa and NPP candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake held their final rallies in Kesbewa, Colombo, and Maharagama respectively.
The election will be held on November 16 and would see 35 candidates vying for the top post in the country.
