The final Randoli Perahera of the Kandy Esala Perahera was held last night (3). The perahera was not open to the public this year owing to restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The perahera made its way from the Dalada Maligawa through the deserted streets of Kandy. The sacred casket containing the Buddha's tooth relic was carried this year by the tusker "Indi Raja."
