In Pictures: Final stage of Southern Expressway opened
The final stage of the Southern Expressway - the extension from Palatuwa to Barawakumbuka was declared open yesterday (23) by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
With the opening of this extension, the Southern Expressway now links Mattala Airport and Hambantota Harbour to Colombo.
