A special sil programme was held at the IDH in Colombo today (7) for staff and patients in view of Vesak Full Moon Poya Day.
The programme was organized by IDH staff under the direction of hospital Director Dr Hasitha Attanayake.
A Dhamma Deshana was also held on the occasion while the Sri Lanka Army took steps to put up Vesak decorations at the hospital.
The IDH is at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19 in the country.

The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
