The President and Secretary of the Jaffna University Students Union who were arrested during a search operation yesterday have been remanded until May 16.
The suspects who were apprehended with photos and posters of LTTE Leader Velupillai Prabhakaran were produced before the Jaffna Magistrates Court today (May 04).
Police have identified the suspects as 27-year old Navaratnam Divaharan, and 25-year old Sivaraja Babilaraj.
The search operation was collaboratively carried out by the Army, Police and the Special Task Force.
