The Judicial Medical Officer (JMO) of the Pallai Hospital in the North has been arrested on charges of abetting terrorism, police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said today (Aug 19).
Mr. Gunasekara noted that the arrest had been carried out by the Army. The 41-year old suspect is under the custody of the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID)'s regional office in Jaffna, he added.
