The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) today lodged a complaint to the Press Complaints Commission of Sri Lanka (PCCSL) against a national newspaper news story published last weekend suggesting that party is in a severe crisis due to divisons among its senior leaders.
JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake told the Times Online after handing over the complaint to the officials of PCCSL that the news report was totally baseless and fabricated to satisfy certain interested parties linked to former president Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Along with the leader Dissanayake, General Secretary Tilvin Silva, Politburo Member K. D. Lal Kantha, Propaganda Secretary Vijitha Herath and other senior party memebrs were present when complaint handed over to PCCSL.
