A Kenyan woman has been nabbed with cocaine upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday (Nov 18).
Customs officials who arrested the woman said that 30 narcotic units had been recovered from her travelling bag when she had arrived from Dubai.
The suspect has been admitted to the Negombo District General Hospital after it had been revealed that more cocaine lumps had been concealed in her person.
Police said that the woman will be detained for a week upon orders issued by the Negombo Magistrate’s Court.
